Is this suitable for a complete beginner?
Yes. Foundations is where complete beginners start at Latin Roots. You do not need any Salsa or Bachata experience before joining.
Do I need a partner?
No. Coming on your own is completely normal. We rotate partners during class so everyone can learn and practise.
What happens in a Foundations evening?
Each evening is 90 minutes and includes both Salsa and Bachata. We build the fundamentals step by step and help you become comfortable with the music, movement and partnerwork over time.
Is the Welcome Week offer only for students?

What is the difference between Hooked and Addicted?
Hooked gives you one regular Foundations evening each week. Addicted gives you access across Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday, giving you more flexibility and more opportunities to dance and practise.
How does payment work?
Hooked is £70 every 4 weeks and Addicted is £129 every 4 weeks. SHANGHAI15 takes £15 off your first payment only. Both options renew every 4 weeks and there is no long-term commitment.

I already dance Salsa or Bachata. Should I join Foundations?
If you already have experience, Foundations may not be the right starting point. Start with an Introductory Session and we will guide you into the appropriate Stage.
