Confidence is something you build by dancing. You do not need experience, rhythm, a partner, or any idea what you are doing before you arrive.

Is Foundations suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Foundations is where complete beginners start at Latin Roots. You do not need any Salsa or Bachata experience before joining.
Do I need a partner?
No. You can come on your own. We rotate partners during class so everyone can learn and practise.
What happens in a Foundations evening?
Every Foundations evening includes Salsa and Bachata. We build the basics step by step, revisit important fundamentals, and help you become more comfortable with the music, movement, and partnerwork over time.
How does payment work?
Your Foundations access renews automatically every four weeks. Hooked is £70 every four weeks and Addicted is £129 every four weeks. There is no long-term commitment.
What is the difference between Hooked and Addicted?
Hooked gives you one regular home evening each week. Addicted gives you access across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, which gives you more flexibility and more opportunities to dance, practise, and build momentum.
Do I have to attend every evening with Addicted?
No. Addicted gives you the freedom to dance more whenever it works for you. You do not have to attend everything.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes you can move in. You do not need special dance shoes to start.

How do I know when I am ready to progress?
You begin in Foundations and build your Salsa and Bachata week by week. As your dancing develops, your instructors will guide you into the next stage when you are ready.
I have danced before. Should I join Foundations?
If you already have Salsa or Bachata experience, Foundations may not be the right place to start. Start with an Introductory Session and we’ll guide you into the right Stage.
