Your £5 reservation is confirmed. When you arrive, we’ll take you through Salsa and Bachata from the beginning so you can experience what learning with Latin Roots is actually like.

Before you leave home

A few simple things to know.

Arrive a little early

Please aim to arrive around 15 minutes before your session. It gives you time to find us, settle in and start without rushing.

Wear something comfortable

Normal comfortable clothes are perfect. Flat shoes you can move in are ideal. You do not need dance shoes.

Come on your own

You do not need a partner. People rotate during the session, and many of our students first walked through the door alone.

What your Try Session is really for

You are not expected to already know how to dance.

Your job is not to impress anyone. Just turn up, follow along and give yourself the chance to experience Salsa and Bachata properly.

We start from zeroTiming, basic movement and partnerwork are taught rather than assumed.

You will try both dancesYour session is designed to give you a real taste of both Salsa and Bachata.

Mistakes are part of itYou are learning a physical skill. Nobody expects you to get everything right immediately.

You will know what happens nextIf you enjoy it, we’ll show you exactly how to start the 4-week Beginner Course.

If you enjoy it

Your next step is the 4-week Salsa & Bachata Beginner Course.

The course is where you begin learning properly from zero with a structured group. You can choose Tuesday, Wednesday or Sunday as your regular training evening, or choose All 3 Evenings if you want more practice and flexibility.

Your £5 Try payment is credited towards the Beginner Course if you join.
